It's been a really long time since I've created a journal on dA.

I've been keeping busy with work and photo shoots.  I was able to sneak away to Katsucon for the weekend but I didn't take that may pictures.

This Thursday I'm heading to Seattle for Sakura-con.  I don't have that many shoots so I get to spend most of my time wandering and going to gatherings

After that, April is a pretty slow month for me.  I might use some of that free time to practice using my 24mm lens unless someone asks me for a shoot

Then May, June, July, August and (maybe) September will keep me busy.  Conventions plus a lot of vacation days to use up (working overtime gave me 42 vacation days).

Sorry for not being so active on deviantArt.  I've been posting a lot of my pictures on my Facebook page but I'll start reposting them here this week.

So the last time I wrote a journal I was going to Anime Expo.  I had a lot of fun there but I didn't take 9000 pictures.  I ended up with around 8200.  Next year I'm hoping to reach 9000!

What else happened between then and now?  I went to Chibi G-Anime in July, Otakuthon in August, Montreal Comiccon in September and Ottawa's Pop Expo in November.  I could not go to Youmacon because I wasn't allowed to take any time off of work since it was a critical period.

What's next?  Believe it or not, I have one more convention left for this year: Montreal Mini-Comiccon!  It's a one-day convention that's happening on December 7th.  After that I'm going to be planning my schedule for next year.

Work is making my schedule a bit unstable for the beginning of the 2015 so I won't know how it's going to be until mid December.  I'll make another journal for that when I know more about it.

I've been busy since my last journal.

Sakuracon was amazing!  I met a lot of new people and had fun shooting in new locations!  I definitely want to go back next year ^^

In May, I went to the Ottawa Comiccon and Anime North.  Both events were fun.  It was nice seeing people that I haven't seen in a very long time from Ottawa and Toronto.

This month I took a break from conventions and did a few shoots.  I have to say that it was a slow June but it's good to take it easy every once in a while.

Right now, I'm getting prepared for Anime Expo.  My goal for this convention is to take over 9000 pictures!  I hope I can make it.

I haven't been updating my dA recently because I've been focusing more on my facebook page (www.facebook.com/BahamutNightP…) and Cospix.net page (cospix.net/bahamutnight/).  I always check dA for updates and messages so if you leave me a note I will check it out.

Sorry I'm late with my Anime Boston report!

It's been 2 years since I've been to Anime Boston and it was great going back there!

I arrived in Boston early Friday morning.  I basically checked in, got my badge, unpacked my camera gear and headed to the Hynes Convention Center.  It was surprising to see a long line-up to get into the convention center.  There was a bag check and since I had my camera bag I had to wait in line.  In the end, I decided to leave my camera bag in the hotel room so that I would not have to wait in line.

It was fun doing random shoots, going to gatherings and taking hall shots.  It was sad that I missed people or only saw them once during the convention   But I can't wait to go back next year ^^


The next convention that I'm going to is Sakura-con.  They already have a convention schedule (not finalized but most of the activities are there!) and an amazing gathering list!  I'm going to be there from Friday to Sunday so if you want to do a shoot, just leave a comment or a note for me ^^

The last time I went to Anime Boston was 2012 so I'm looking forward to going there next week!

I'm planning on taking it easy.  I don't have a schedule yet but I'm planning on making up for the lack of gathering pictures.  If you see me there, make sure to say hi ^^
